POWER SUPPLY

+ Are your marquees battery operated?

No. We will need access to an electrical outlet to power our marquees.

+ What type of power do I need?

A standard power outlet will suffice. However, depending on the size of the setup we will need to use two (or more) power outlets on separate circuits.

+ What type bulbs do you use?

We use 11w bulbs on our marquees.

+ I will not have access to an electrical outlet, can we still use your marquees?

Yes! GF Lit can provided a generator at an additional cost. Generators are limited.

+ Do I need to provide extension cords?

No! We will bring extension cords as needed.

+ Do you provide extra light bulbs in case one goes out during my event?

Yes. We provide extra bulbs for each rental.

SPACE REQUIREMENTS

+ How tall are your marquees?

Our letter and number marquees are 4ft tall.

Our symbol marquees (heart, &, +, stroller, ring) are 3ft tall.

Our toppers are 1ft. tall.

+ How much space do I need?

Our marquees vary in width, the average width is 3ft wide. We will provide overall length in your agreement so you can plan accordingly.

For small spaces we recommend stacking.

+ How much height clearance do I need for a stacked setup?

Our stacked setups are 8ft tall. Minimum height clearance for our stacked setups is 9ft.

+ Can I move my setup?

No. Setups can not be moved after we have left. We ensure our setups meet standard requirements for safety.

Should the marquees need to be moved, we can come back out at an additional fee.

STACKING

+ What is stacking?

Stacking is a two-level display of marquees. We use our custom-made stacking stands which allows us to stack marquees over each other.

+ How many "levels" can you stack?

One. For a maximum of two levels of our 4ft marquees.

+ Can you add a 1ft topper to a stacked setup?

Yes! We can add a 1ft. topper to our stacked setups.

WEATHER

+ Are your marquees weatherproof?

Our marquees can withstand light rain/drizzle and other outdoor elements. We do not recommend outdoor use during severe weather including but not limited to high winds, heavy rain/hail, or snow/sleet.

GF Lit is not responsible for inclement weather. We highly recommend having a back-up plan, refunds will not be issued.

GENERAL

+ Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your date. If an invoice is sent and deposit is not made, marquees are not reserved.

+ My venue requires a COI, can you provide one?

GF Lit is insured and can provide a COI upon request.

+ Can I make a last-minute reservation?

Yes. If we have the marquees available and our schedule allows you can reserve up to two days before your event. One day and next day reservations will incur a rush fee.

+ Why do you charge a rush fee for last minute reservations?

Our schedule, route, and setups are confirmed days in advance. Last minute reservations require extra time and work on the back end.
